Merub Ali Clarifies about her Relationship with Asim Azhar
Model and Actress Merub Ali, who made her acting debut in the mega cast military drama 'Sinf E Aahan', has clarifies that singer Asim Azhar is neither her stepbrother nor her cousin.

Merub Ali Clarifies that She and Asim Azhar are definitely not cousins or step-siblings.
The model and actress also clarifies in a recent interview with Something Haute when asked about her relationship with Asim Azhar, including her career.
The actress said in response to a question that she started modeling in 2016 at the age of just 16 and first gave a performance in singer Sajjad Ali's song after which she worked in various projects.

According to Merub Ali, she is known as a social media star and especially as an Instagram influencer, but she sees herself as a model and actress.
She said that Sana Shahnawaz, the producer of 'Sinf E Ahan', had told Gul Rana, the mother of Asim Azhar, that Merub Ali's face was similar to that of Yumna Zaidi, so she wanted to cast her in a drama and then she did the drama contacted for audition.
Merub Ali said that Sana Shahnawar asked to audition in front of director Nadeem Baig after which she was cast and during the shooting she learned many things not only from the director but also from other cast including Yumna Zaidi.

In response to a question, Merub Ali said that she has spent most of her life abroad but she started her professional career from the country and she is sure that she will get the best roles according to her age.
In the same interview, she clarifies in response to a question that most people think that Asim Azhar and Merub Ali are step-siblings or they are cousins.
She clarifies that she is neither the step sister of Asim Azhar and nor her cousin, this is the opinion of the people.
Merub Ali said that she and Asim Azhar have known each other since childhood and are best friend while her brother and Asim Azhar are also good friend and their mothers are also best friends.
It may be recalled that in July this year, news spread on social media pages and showbiz websites that Merub Ali and Asim Azhar had got engaged.
Later, a fake social media post was spread in the name of Asim Azhar, in which it was stated by the fake profile of Asim Azhar that Merub Ali is like his sister.
After this Asim Azhar had termed the said post as fake, however, he did not make it clear whether he was engaged to Merub Ali or did not give any explanation about his relationship with her.
However, now Merub Ali clarifies in the interview that she and Asim Azhar are definitely not cousins or step-siblings.
