Educational institutions are expected to open on January 25

Educational institutions across the country are expected to open on January 25 instead of January 11

The exams are scheduled to take place in late May or June. The final decision will be made on January 4 at the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference.

Educational institutions closed in Pakistan in November after the second wave of the corona virus.

Students were instructed to teach online at home, while the school decided to open the toys on January 11 after the winter holidays.

The owners of the private educational institutions informed the ministry of their decision and said that the schools would reopen on January 11 no matter what.

On the other hand, Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood said that the final decision would be taken at the inter-provincial education ministers' conference on January 4, adding that children's health was our top priority.

According to Samaa TV, the federation has now proposed to open educational institutions in three phases.

According to the education department, in the first phase, primary schools will be opened from January 25, under the proposal, middle and secondary schools will be opened from February 4, while in the third phase, it is proposed to open higher education institutions.

The federation has also suggested that examinations across the country be held in late May or early June.

The federation will present its proposals for consultation at the inter-provincial education ministers' conference on January 4, with a final decision based on the views of the four provinces.

It should be noted that the Sindh Education Minister had categorically refused to promote children in the next classes without examinations this year. Other provinces had also taken a similar stance.

Remember that the federal government had decided to close all educational institutions across Pakistan from November 26 to January 10 next year due to increasing cases of corona virus.
