England Cricket team reached Pakistan after 17 years to play T20 series

England Cricket Captain Jos Buttler will not be able to play the complete series against Pakistan

 

England team reached Pakistan after 17 years to play a series of seven T20 International matches

The England squad under the leadership of wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler arrived at Karachi's Jinnah International Airport where the visiting team was welcomed by the top officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board.

The England team has come to Pakistan after 17 years where the visiting team last visited Pakistan in 2005.

In 2005, a Test and ODI series were played between the two teams, which will be the first time that the two teams will be competing in the T20 series in Pakistan.

Jos Buttler, captain of the England team arriving in Karachi, will hold a press conference at a local hotel at 2 pm.

From September 16 to September 19, both teams will conduct a practice session at the National Stadium, after which the first match of the seven-match T20 series will be played on September 20 and the Pakistan Cricket Board has announced to donate the gate money of the first match of the series to the flood victims.

In the first phase of the series, 4 T20 matches will be played between the two teams at National Stadium Karachi, these matches will be played on September 20, 22, 23 and 25.

Later, the England cricket team will leave Karachi for Lahore where the last three matches of the series will be played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on 28, 30 and 2 October.


Jos Buttler will not able to play complete series against Pakistan

England cricket captain Jos Buttler will not be able to play T20 series against Pakistan due to injury.

According to British media reports, England captain Jos Buttler will not be able to play the 7-match T20 series against Pakistan due to a shin injury, while Moin Ali will lead the team in his place.

Earlier, the English Cricket Board (ECB) has already asked Jos Buttler not to play in the opening matches. In this regard, the English captain while talking to the journalists said that I will try to participate in the last two matches of the series.

England have included 5 new players in the announced squad for the tour of Pakistan, including batsman Jordan Cooks, fast bowler Tom Helm, batsman Will Jacks, Ollie Stone and Luke Wood.
