Paris Saint Germain -with all its figures- beat Japan's Kawasaki Frontale 2-1 on Wednesday, in the first friendly match of the French team's tour of the Asian country.

Another satisfactory test for Paris Saint Germain. The powerful French squad, who have started a new era under Christophe Galtier, have played their second pre-season friendly and achieved a 2-1 victory thanks to a goal from Lionel Messi. The victory was against Kawasaki Frontale, current two-time champion of the J1 League of Japan, where the Parisian team will play some more commitments in preparation for a new campaign.

PSG released the new shirt that will only be used in away games and that was presented in the last few hours: it is a tribute to the 50th. anniversary of the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris this year.

The match was played at the Tokyo National Stadium, located in the outer garden of the Meiji Shrine, and featured a crowd of local fans.

At 32 minutes into the first half, Messi faced the Japanese defense, finished off a cross and the ball -after deflecting off a defender- entered the goal to open the scoring for the Parisian team.

In the second half and after an assist from Messi (later replaced by Mauro Icardi), PSG increased the score in the 28th minute through Kalimuendo Muinga. The Japanese team reacted and discounted at 35 through Yamamura.

Next Saturday, at 7 am (Argentine time), Paris Saint Germain will play against Urawa Reds Diamonds, at Saitama Stadium; and on Monday 25 -also at 7- they will close their series of friendly matches in Japan against Gamba Osaka at the Panasonic Stadium.
