The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the schedule for the Men's T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia
The tournament will be played in seven Australian cities from October 18 to November 13, with 16 teams taking part.
According to the ICC, Pakistan and India have been placed in the same group in the Scheduled Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.
The match between the two teams will be played on October 23 in Melbourne. The eighth edition of the T20 format will begin on October 16 in Adelaide, Australia.

There will be a total of 45 matches between the 16 teams. Pakistan's group also includes two qualifiers with Bangladesh and South Africa. The semi-finals are in Adelaide and Sydney, while the final will be played in Melbourne on November 13. Australia will defend the title.

First Round
The tournament will begin with a six-day group stage to determine the final four teams for the Super 12.
Group ‘A’ will include Sri Lanka and Namibia along with two other qualifiers, while Group ‘B’ will include the West Indies and Scotland along with two additional global qualifiers.
The winner of Group 'A' and the runner-up of Group 'B' team will go to Group One in the Super 12 stage, while the winner of Group 'B' and the runner-up in Group 'A' team will go to Group '2'.
Super 12 Round
The Super 12 round kicks off in Sydney on October 22 between the two finalists of the 2021 T20 World Cup, New Zealand and Australia.
The match between Pakistan and India will be played on October 23 in Melbourne on the second day of the Super 12 stage.
The Super 12 stage will run for 15 days, with all matches between the ‘2’ groups ending on November 5 and 6.

The Most Important Matches
One of the most exciting matches of the tournament will be played between Pakistan and India on October 23 in Melbourne on the second day of the Super 12 stage.
Pakistan broke the tradition last year with their first win against India in the World Cup in Dubai.
Pakistan's other matches are scheduled on October 27, October 30, November 3 and November 6.
Pakistan will face South Africa on November 3, while Pakistan will face Bangladesh on November 6, the last day of the Super 12 stage.
At the end of the first week of the tournament, apart from Australia vs New Zealand and Pakistan vs India, several other important matches in the Super 12 stage will also be prominent.
England and New Zealand, who clashed in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2021, will now face each other on November 1, which will be the last group match between the two teams.
