PSL 6: Hania Amir Becomes Peshawar Zalmi's Brand Ambassador

The sixth season of Pakistan Super League (PSL) is starting one day later from February 20 and cricket fans are eagerly awaiting the start of the event.

To further boost the audience's enthusiasm, PSL's most important team, Peshawar Zalmai, a few days ago, like every year, appointed actress Mahira Khan as its brand ambassador.

Peshawar Zalmai's official Twitter handle announced the appointment of Mahira Khan as ambassador on February 16.

Meanwhile, team owner Javed Afridi had also announced the appointment of the actress as ambassador through his tweet.

Now Peshawar Zalmi has also announced the appointment of actress Hania Amir as ambassador for the sixth season of PSL.

A tweet from Peshawar Zalmi's Twitter account said, "We are proud to appoint Hania Amir as Peshawar Zalmi's ambassador for PSL 6”. 

Actress Hania Aamir was also part of Peshawar Zalmi's PSL anthem in the year 2020.

However, after the appointment of Hania Amir as Peshawar Zalmi's ambassador, PSL fans are now asking why no formal announcement has been made so far regarding the appointment of Turkish actress Esra Bilgic as brand ambassador.

A Twitter account attributed to Turkish actress Esra Bilgic, who starred in Ertugrul Ghazi last year, tweeted that she would soon share the good news about Peshawar Zalmai.

After which, in January this year, Esra Bilgic shared a picture of Islamia College Peshawar in Insta Story and wrote 'City of Flowers' and then Peshawar Zalmai Chairman Javed Afridi tweeted the same sentence on the social networking website Twitter.

Fans have been waiting for the actress to be appointed as Peshawar Zalmai's ambassador since the vague posts of Javed Afridi and Esra Bilgic, but no official statement has been issued in this regard.

Late last night, Javed Afridi had said in a tweet that another big announcement was going to be made.

On which some users guessed that maybe Halima Sultan is coming to Pakistan.

However, now that Haniya Amir has been appointed as the team's ambassador, fans are asking whether Turkish actress Esra Bilgic is the ambassador or not.

The sixth season of PSL will start on the 20th of this month and the first match of the season will be played at the National Stadium Karachi between the defending champions Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators.
